The Citadel is issuing an open call to artists around the state of South Carolina to submit designs to be considered for the poster commemorating the military college’s upcoming 175th anniversary.
The Hallowe’en for the Special carnival will be held on Tuesday, October 25, at the City of Dillon Wellness Center located at 1647 Commerce Drive in Dillon.
The Dillon County Theatre opens the 2016-2017 season with The Coker Singers & Chamber Singers on Saturday, September 24. The performance begins at 7:00 p.m., and doors will open to the public at 6:00 p.m.
Dillon Historic School Foundation will soon organize a DHS Graduates’ Choir.

Eastern Cherokee, Southern Iroquois & United Tribes of South Carolina has officially opened its Call for Entries, accepting submissions of independently produced film and video, feature length and short length films, documentary, experimental, student, religious/spiritual, animation, comedy, horror/Sci-Fi and all genre of music videos, for the 19th Annual Native American Indian Film & Video Festival of the southeast, held November 2016.
