McDonald’s Robbed

•An armed robbery occurred at the McDonald’s on Highway 38 West on October 17th.
According to Captain Cliff Arnette, shortly after midnight, two black males, who were armed and had on hoodies and disguises, entered the store and demanded all of the money.
Dillon Mayor Says Public-Private Partnership Moving Forward

•Dillon Mayor Todd Davis said at the city’s council meeting on Monday night that the Dillon County Public-Private Partnership Economic Development Board is moving forward.
Deadline Extended To October 26th To Enter Herald’s Baby Contest

•The deadline has been extended through October 26th to enter The Dillon Herald’s baby contest. Only two more babies are needed to get the contest underway. Babies who are under two years are eligible to participate.
