Council Chairman Still Wants Bank Statements

The Dillon County Council Chairman Archie Scott continued his pursuit of the county’s bank statements at the last regular meeting of council.
Scott made a motion to direct County Administrator Clay Young to get a copy of the bank statements and financial summaries dealing with public funds and to have this information for council at the next meeting.

Request Made For Funds For Mt. Holly Cemetery Upkeep

The Dillon County Council received a request for funds from the Dillon County Historical Society for the upkeep of the Mt. Holly Cemetery where Dillon County’s father, James W. Dillon, members of Mr. Dillon’s family, and others who played an important role in Dillon County are buried.
