Woodmen Life/Woodmen of the World Von Dietrich Agency Grand Opening Held

The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting welcoming the Woodmen Life/Woodmen of the World Von Dietrich Agency, located at 108 North Fifth Avenue in Dillon, was held on Friday, March 25th. The day started with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., a light luncheon was held from 12-2 p.m., and refreshments were served from 4-6 p.m. Mayor Pro-Tem Dr. Phil Wallace thanked Woodmen for choosing Dillon and said he hoped the business would fluorish. County Councilman Jamal Campbell also said they were glad to have the business in Dillon and thanked them for what they do for the community. David Longacre said this was a thrilling day, and he was glad to be a part of the the City of Dillon and Dillon County. He said Woodmen had been in the community for a long time and that they were a community oriented business and cared about people, especially their members. Stacy Anderson said there were few who rose as quickly as David Longacre and commended him for all he has done. Mr. Bryan Bracey of Dillon was the winner of the $100 gift card drawing that was run during the Grand Opening of Woodmen Life.
