Red Cross Assists Dillon Fire Victims

DILLON, March 27, 2022-American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are assisting a family whose home, located on East Calhoun Street in Dillon, was damaged by a fire early this morning.
The Red Cross is helping three people by providing financial assistance for immediate needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, along with referrals to much needed resources.
Every year, we celebrate March as National Red Cross Month. We use this month as a chance to honor and celebrate the everyday heroes who help us fulfill our mission. Volunteers make up nearly 90% of the Red Cross’ workforce. This year, we encourage you to uncover your inner hero by supporting the Red Cross. Join Red Cross Month by visiting redcross.org to make a financial donation to support disaster relief, give blood, become a volunteer or take a class in lifesaving skills, such as first aid and CPR.
