The Dillon Lady Wildcats defeated the Marion Swamp Foxes 13 to 0 in a five-inning varsity softball game played Tuesday, April 12, in Dillon.
Tori Grimsley picked up the win for Dillon as she pitched 3 innings and allowed l hit, walked 1, and struck out 1.
Lacey Johnson suffered the loss for the Swamp Foxes while pitching 1 1/3 innings and allowed 9 hits, 10 runs of which 7 were earned, and walked 2.
The Lady Wildcats were led by Skyler McCoy in the hitting department while going 2 for 2 at the plate with a home run and a triple and 4 rbi.
Brittney Miller was also perfect at the plate in her 2 at-bats including a home run and 2 rbi while Erin Bailey was also 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 rbi.
Dillon is now 10-3 on the season and 6 and 1 in Region 8-2A.
Dillon traveled to Hartsville on Thursday, April 14.
