Dillon Coach Hopes Team Will Make Run In Playoffs This Season

The Dillon High School Varsity Baseball team hopes to make a run in the playoffs this coming season.
Under the leadership of Coach Greg Dozier, who has 22 years of coaching experience, they expect to do just that.
The team loses seven players from last season and hopes that some of the younger players will fill the void. “We are expecting good things from some young players,” said Dozier, whose coaching staff will remain the same from last year.
Key positions he needs to fill are catcher and shortstop. He has the most experience in the outfield.
His expectation for this season is to find a way to stay in the top four teams and make the playoffs.  He expects his toughest challenge to come from Waccamaw.
“ I am looking forward to see these young men compete and hope we can get better and make a run in the playoffs,” said Dozier.
