Lake View High School Baseball Coach Hopes Team Will Work Hard And Improve This Season

Lake View High School varsity baseball coach Kip Herlong hopes his team will work hard and improve this coming season.
Herlong, who has been coaching for 23 years, is coming off a 21-7 season from last year. He only lost two players from last year’s team and has three or four players that he expects to step up and fill the void. He also lost Coach Brooks Garris from his coaching staff.
Assisting him in making the Wild Gators their very best will be new coaching staff member, Brooks Arnette.
One of the key positions he will look to fill this year is first base. He has his most experience in the pitching position.
Among his new opponents this year is Trinity-Byrnes, but he expects his toughest challenges from Latta, Green Sea Floyds, and Carvers Bay,
