On Sunday, August 23, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Bay Catfish Road in Latta in reference to an assault, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim stated that two individuals come to his residence asking about a job and from that point the victim was assaulted and money taken from the victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment for the injuries received during the assault.
