Hildegunde R. “Tic-Toc” Bailey

Services for Hildegunde R. “Tic-Toc” Bailey will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Open Door Community Church with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bailey, 79, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born in Neudenau, Germany, February 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Otto Rieger and Rosa Sturm Rieger. She was a member of Open Door Community Church, and she also enjoyed attending the Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 3181, and was a retired textile worker.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bryan Bailey of Dillon; children, Jimmy (Karen) Bailey, Rosa A. (Robert) Butler, both of Florence, Johnny (Lynn) Bailey of McColl, Pearl (Wayne) Caulder of Dillon, and Pamela (John) Williams of Charleston; sister, Elsa Hoffman; half-sister, Pia; grandchildren, Bryan Keith Jeffords, Steven Bailey, James Michael Bailey, Kimberly Ann Williams, Johnny Caulder, Jr., and Karen Woodard (Jason), Stephen Smith and Ashlyn Smith; great-grandchildren, Justin Paul Jeffords, Elisha Williams, Anna Williams, Taylor Logan Caulder, Caleb Brian Woodard, Alex Bailey, Jalynn Smith, Cheyenne Smith, Dynasti Jacobs, and Camryan Jacobs; and a host of other relatives in Germany.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, John Bailey; sisters, Cecelia Scheicher and Trudel Waltz; and her brother, Antone Sturm.
