Franklin Hunter Jackson

Services for Franklin Hunter Jackson will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at Bristow Freewill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Jackson, 73, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, March 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Arthur James Jackson and Lennie Williams Jackson.  He was a member of Bristow Freewill Baptist Church, and was a retired Truck Driver.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jackson of Latta; children, Carol (Giles) Love, Franklin H. “Sam” Jackson, Jr., Pansy (Donald) Lovett, Sheryl Jackson, and Jessica Jackson, all of Latta; step-daughter, Mary Miles of Darlington; brother, Neil (Margaret) Jackson of Wallace; sisters, Peggy (Rev. Leverne) Ard, Kathryn (Paul) Branch, both of Bennettsville, Virginia Hayes of Dillon, and Gail (Victor) Berry of Bennettsville; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Lynn Jackson; and his sisters, Annie Ruth Weatherford and Nan Spinks.
