Latta defeated the Flashes 2-1 and 4-3 in Monday’s double header. Colby Lee picked up the win in game 1 with six outs, and Eric McGirt got the win in game two with four outs.
On Wednesday, the Vikings lost their final home games of the season as they fell 6-3 in six innings in game one against Hannah-Pamplico, and 2-0 in game two. Caleb Mishue took the loss in the first game, and John Malcolm George pitched the second.
Latta improved to 5-2 overall for the season. The Vikings were scheduled to travel to face Green Sea-Floyds on Monday and will be at Lake View on Monday, April 8, for a double header against the junior varsity Gators.
