The Latta Vikings had their first scored showings this past week as they participated in two jamborees.
On Thursday, they took part in the Lake View Jamboree where they battled Hannah-Pamplico to a scoreless 0-0 finish.
On Saturday, they played against Andrews in the Geathers Family Jamboree in Carvers Bay, South Carolina. Latta took a 14-0 loss to the Class AA Yellowjackets as Andrews overwhelmed the Vikings with their speed.
Latta opens the regular season at Waccamaw this Friday, August 19, at 7:30 p.m. in a non-conference game.
