Lake View’s Wild Gators defeated the Creek Bridge 10-0 in each game of a double header on Tuesday.
Pitcher David Townsend got the win for both games with Steele Spivey coming in for relief in both three-inning games.
Zach Allen had a two-run home run in the second inning of game two to help lead Lake View to victory.
Lake View’s record improves to 6-0 in the regular season with all six wins coming in region games. The Wild Gators were scheduled to play Pee Dee Academy on Wednesday in their first non-league bout of the season.
On Friday, the Wild Gators will travel to face region rivals and county foes the Latta Vikings. Latta has an 8-2 overall record and a 3-0 region record so far this season. Be sure to come out and support your local team!
