County Council Approves Budget

The Dillon County Council approved their budget with a four mill increase and a $10 increase in the fire service fee at a called meeting of council on Monday, August 13th.

The Pet Adoption Event held at the Dillon County Animal Shelter last week was successful with 16 dogs being adopted or going to wonderful rescues.

Man Charged With Death Of 13-Month-Old

Agents of the S.C. Law Enforcement Division arrested a Latta man on Thursday in connection with the death earlier this month of his 13-month-old child.
