The Dillon County Council passes the following ordinance readings and resolutions at the August 22nd meeting.

McLeod Reappointed To Trinity Behavioral Care Board

The Dillon County Council re-appointed J. D. McLeod to the Trinity Behavioral Care-Dillon Board of Directors for a four-year term. McLeod has served on this Board since 2004.

Little Pee Dee River Cleaning Update Given

At the August 22nd meeting of the Dillon County Council, Interim Administrator Lisa Gray gave an update on the Little Pee Dee River cleaning.

County Council Appoints Grievance Committee Members

Three members have been appointed to the county’s grievance committee.

A person on a bicycle was killed on August 28 approximately 12:25 a.m. in Dillon County on Lockemy Highway (S.C. Highway 57) near Hope Court.
