Kannaday Funeral Home Remembrance Service Held

Greenlawn Cemetery held the Eighth Annual Luminary Service & Kannaday Funeral Home Remembrance Service on Friday, December 2, at 6:00 p.m. at 1252 Hwy. 57 South, Dillon, S.C.
The opening prayer and welcome was by Dr. Christopher Daniels.
The message was by Rev. Steven Tyler of Sardis Baptist Church of Latta, S.C. He spoke from John 11:33, Hebrews 4:15, John 13-18, John 14:1, II Corinthians 1:3 and 4, and Revelations 21. Rev. Tyler offered comfort through Jesus Christ who loves us all and will never leave us. Rev. Tyler acknowledged that all present were hurting. In fact, 7 years ago he was in the same way as his wife had passed away. Through the losing of his wife, it made him a better person as to understand how to comfort someone better.
Ryan L. Kannaday, Jr. spoke briefly thanking everyone for coming followed by a video presentation, “Hope In Christmas.” The video listed all who had passed away during the year.
The closing remarks and prayer was by Dr. Christopher H. Daniels who also invited those present to enjoy the refreshments and to place candles on their loved ones at Greenlawn Cemetery.
