Graveside services for Doris Lillian Lewis Long were held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation were held 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday prior to service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Long, 93, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Lexington Extended Care.
Born April 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert Herman Lewis and Estelle Marie Hammond Lewis. She was a longtime member of Dillon First Baptist Church, and retired from Franco Manufacturing Company.
Survivors include her son, Mitchell Long of Columbia, SC; daughter, Joann Matthews (Donnie) of Lexington, SC; two grandchildren, Jason Matthews and Bridget Gaines (Scott); and two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Cooper Gaines all of Lexington, SC.
She was was predeceased by her husband Joe Long, Jr.; and one grandchild.
