The Dillon District Four School Board approved the draft of the 2024-2025 Year Round Modified School Calendar at their January meeting.
The calendar will now go to the Dillon County Board of Education for approval at their meeting in February.
The first day for students will be Monday, August 5th. The first intersession break will be September 30th through October 2nd. The second intersession break will be February 24th-28th, 2025, which is a full week. the first semester ends December 20th.
Other holidays will be September 2 (Labor Day), November 5 (Election Day), November 27-29 (Thanksgiving), December 23-January 3 (Winter Break), January 20 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day), April 14-18 (Spring Break), and May 26 (Memorial Day).
School ends May 30th.
Graduation is May 29th. Lake View High School graduation will be 8:30 a.m. Dillon High School graduation will be 10 a.m. Adult Education graduation will be at 2:00 p.m.
The calendar will go to the Dillon County Board of Education in February for approval.
