Patricia Lynn Phillips Ross (77) made her heavenly journey to her eternal home surrounded by her family on January 2, 2024, after an extended illness. Born September 10, 1946, she was the youngest of 7 children to the late Junior and Virgie McGrady Phillips.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Kemper Baptist Church with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Patricia was retired from the South Carolina Department of Social Services where she was employed for over 25 years. She was a lifelong member of the Dillon Church of God.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Ross Jackson (Randy) of Fork and Tiffany Ross McLeod (John) of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren Levi Samuel Kale, II (Brooke) of Dillon, Michael Wade Kale (Delta) of Florence and Thomas Dalton Ray (Alex Buffkin) of Florence; great-grand children Noah Kale, Aubree Kale, and Maverick Kale. Also, her canine baby girl Sassy.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Bob Younts, her siblings: brothers – Clyde and Charles Phillips, sisters – Rebecca Pope, Annie Mae Epperson, Yvonne Melton, and Carolyn Holbert; granddaughter Pippa Lyanne Turbeville and great-granddaughter Raelyn McKinley Faith Kale.
