Graveside services for Joyce M. Rogers were held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
A celebration of her life was held following the graveside service at the Latta Community Center.
Mrs. Rogers, 80, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the Commander Nursing Home in Florence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Marion County, SC, October 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William Griffin Coleman and Katherine Bowen Coleman. She was a retired CNA.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Allen (Mike) of Dillon, Lisa Lovett (Tim) of Bennettsville, and Christy McDowell of Latta; son, Donnie McDowell (Tina) of Dillon; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; step-son, Timmy “Pee Wee” Arnette; sister, Daphne Watts of Dillon.
Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Pamela McDowell Cook; companion, Bryan Arnette; and her brother, Ronald Coleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dillon County Animal Shelter, 1020 Old Latta Highway, Dillon, SC 29536.
