The 2021 Patriots Pen Essay winner is Samantha Townsend of Latta Middle School. Samantha competed again all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at Latta Middle School. She also won $100, and her entry will be submitted to VFW District 7 for judging and a possible win there.
