The Dillon City Council recently approved the Accommodations Tax Committee’s recommendations in a 6-0 vote.
The committee met via phone and email on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 to give recommendation on requested funds.
The following the request and the recommendation:
1. Dillon County Theatre: Requested:
$30,000-Recommended: $10,000
2. Dillon Community Alliance:
Requested: $25,000- Recommended: $12,500
3. Dillon Farmers Market:
Requested: $3,000-Recommended: $3,000
4. Carolina’s Art Guild: Requested:
$1,500-Recommended: $1,320
5. Dillon Historical Society:
Requested: $4,000-Recommended: $2,000
6. Dillon Historical School Foundation:
Requested: $20,000 -Recommended: $10,000
7. St. Patrick’s Day Event:
Requested: $3,000-Recommended $2,846
