The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, SLED, South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, and S.C. National Guard combined together to do eradication across the county.
The Sheriff’s Office received tips from within the county of some locations that were checked by helicopter and on foot for illegal marijuana grow spots.
The officers did find over 200 marijuana plants growing through out the county in different locations.
