The Lake View Wild Gators returned home Friday, October 20, from Marion with a 44-8 win over Creek Bridge.
Lake View’s Benji Kelley carried 12 times for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Wild Gators’ quarterback, De’Ante Bridgette passed for 100 yards while completing 4 passes of 4 attempted. Jalik Roberts was on the receiving end of 2 of those passes for 55 yards. Lake View’s defense scored on 3 turnovers in the game.
The Wild Gators’ record for the season is 8-1 and 4-0 in Region 6-A.
Lake View will have their hands full as the Wild Gators travel to face the 9-0 Hemingway team on Friday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m.
