BIll R. Bullard

SELLERS – William R. “Bill” Bullard, Jr, 87, formerly of Florence, died Sunday evening May 14, 2017.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment followed at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family spoke to visitors from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Bullard was born in Loris, SC, the son of the late William R. Sr., and Dessie Pridgen Bullard. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Bill worked as a Policeman and Fireman for the city of Dillon and later as a Security Guard Supervisor for Celenese Fiber Industries until retiring. He was married to the late Alicia Flowers Bullard. Surviving are a son, Jerry (Connie) Bullard, Nichols; daughter, Sheila (Robert) Faircloth, Sellers; brother, MacArthur (Merline) Bullard; sister, Berline (Dewey) Thompkins; grandchildren, Allen Haselden, Archie Haselden, Jason Bullard and Nicolette Bullard and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Eunice Beasley, Bernice Grainger and Eudell Milligan, three brothers, Corlie, Elbert and Thelbert Bullard.
