Dillon Christian School participated in the SCISA Middle School Math Meet on Thursday, October 27. The event was held at the Sumter County Civic Center in Sumter, SC. DCS had a total of ten 7th and 8th graders to participate in the math meet. The students were given a written test consisting of 50 math problems which had to be completed in one hour. After lunch they participated in a Speed Round. Each student had to work 5 problems, in a five minute time period. The points from the written test and Speed Round were combined, awards were given based on the student’s total points. The students participating in this event from DCS were: Maggie Love, Andrew Brown, August Smith, Jon Michael Davis, Katie Collins, Macy Freeman, Chloe Eggert, John Feeko, Lindsay Branch, and Michelle Chen.
