Robert Hamer Manning III (Bo) died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at home in Marion, SC. He was the son of the late Robert H. Manning Jr. and the late Lula Bass Manning, both of Latta, SC. He was predeceased by his brother, Howard B. Manning (Bubba). Bo and his former wife Leslie Carlton Manning are the proud and beloved parents of one son, Robert H. Manning IV (Bert), who lives in Florence, SC.
Bo was a lifelong member of Latta United Methodist Church, coached little league baseball in Dillon, and taught 7th grade math in Dillon for thirty years to many treasured students.
Bo had many friends whom he loved and loved him: the family expresses their appreciation and love to each one.
A memorial service was held at Latta United Methodist Church Saturday, September 10 at 2 p.m.. All were invited to the memorial and to meet in the Fellowship Hall immediately after for light refreshments and to meet with the family.
There will be no internment after the memorial service. The family asks those wishing to make donations in Bo’s memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
