Deans Woodrow Johnson

Services for Deans Woodrow Johnson will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Union Baptist Church in Temperance Hill with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson, 74, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Pruitt Healthcare in Dillon.
Born in Marion County, SC, April 1, 1941, he was the son of the late Woodrow Johnson and Beatrice Johnson.  He was a member of Union Baptist Church, and was a retired Farmer.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Oriental Band.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Fore Johnson of Latta; daughters, Pam Hayes,  Kay Martin (Larry Lane), and Denise Moore (“J” Carmichael), all of Latta; step-children, Brian Page of Clayton, NC, and Rodney Page of Moorehead, NC; grandchildren, Ed (Amy) Hayes, Lyle (Lauren) Hayes, Mikey Moore, and Chelsea Martin; great-grandchildren, Grayson Hayes, John Alan Martin, III,  Kailee Hayes, Brianna Harrison, Trevor Harrison, and Clara Grace Johnson; sister, Patricia (Sam) Hollen of Gainesville, VA; brothers, Laval (Becky) Johnson of Marion, and Lanair (Judy) Johnson of Hartsville.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his grandson,  J.J. Martin; and his son-in-law, Eddie Hayes.
