Crystelle Lupo Moody

Mrs. Crystelle Lupo Moody, 96, widow of Harry Gibson “Mutt” Moody, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Pruitt Health of Dillon SC.  She was born June 30, 1919, the daughter of the late Wiley A. and Madge Powell Lupo in the Gaddy’s Mill section of Dillon County.
Mrs. Moody was pre-deceased by her brothers, William Earl Lupo and Cuyler Lupo; and sisters, Sybil Brooks and Emily Humphrey. She is survived by her son, Harry J. Moody, Jr. of Georgetown, Fla; daughters, Barbara (Jim) Jenkins of DeBary, Fla. and Madge (Jack) Bohachic of Clemson, SC; grandchildren, Audrey (Dave) Barrett and Emily (Michael) Bobbitt; great grandsons, Benjamin and Jacob Barrett; great granddaughters, Melanie Claire and Morgan Leigh Bobbitt; and several nieces and nephews.
A gracious and caring person, Mrs. Moody loved her birds and flowers. She was a dedicated a member of Union United Methodist Church for over 75 years.  She graduated from Lake View High School and attended Coker College.  Mrs. Moody retired from G. H. Bell and Son Jewelers and Gift Shop after 20 years.
A funeral service will be Friday, March 25, 2016 at Union United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Dillon. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union United Methodist Church, 3114 Gaddy Mill Rd., Dillon SC 29536 or Regency Southern Care Hospice, 960 Pamplico Hwy, Suite K, Florence SC 29505.
The family would like to say a sincere and grateful thank you to Pruitt Health of Dillon and Regency Hospice, Tracie Spivey and Gloria Tarte.   They would also like to think their special friends, Clara Bethea, Bill Hayes and Lynn Johnson, Lisa McGill, Tway Williams, Lena Evans and Sara Adams, all of whom provided loving care.
