Latta High School Swimmer, Joanne Bethea, competed in Sumter on August 25 against several other area schools. She placed first in the 200 yard freestyle. Previously, at a meet in Myrtle Beach she swam times to qualify her for the state meet in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle.
