Mary Catherine Jackson, 84, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon.
Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 28th at Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon County, February 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Claude Davis and Minnie Burr Davis. She was a member of Dillon Church of God and was the widow of the late Jasper Jackson, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Jasper Jackson Jr. (Kim) of Dillon, Nancy Chavis (Willie) of Knoxville, TN, Bertha Roberts of Dillon, Cathy Williams (DJ) of Dillon, and Carol Roper (Frank) of Aynor; 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Jackson, Sr.; and son & daughter-in-law, Larry & Florine Jackson.
