Latta – Janice Hayes Pullie, 77, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Agape Rehabilitation of Conway, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Latta Baptist Church officiated by Rob Pierce and Carroll Stephens with burial to follow at Catfish Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Services will be directed by Kannaday Funeral Home of Latta, SC. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 12,2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta.
Janice was born in Latta, SC on December 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Gary Hayes of Latta.
Janice retired from the SC Department of Social Services after a 22 year career. She was a member of Latta Baptist Church, an avid reader, and a lover of stray animals.
Janice is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lester Pullie of the home; son, Stephen (Carole Collins) Pullie of Lexington, SC; and two loving grandchildren, Connor and MariKatherine of Lexington, SC; and her sister Linda Hayes of Latta, SC. She was predeceased in death by her son, David Hugh Pullie.
