Mary Lou Turner McDaniel, 95, died on April 10th, 2015 at McLeod Hospice in Dillon, SC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. graveside at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton, SC. Visitation will follow the graveside service.
Mrs. McDaniel was born on May 18th 1919 in Pickens County, SC, a daughter of the late John Henry and Vera West Turner. She retired from Asten Felts in Clinton. She was a very talented lady with many hobbies which included tole painting, ceramics, porcelain dolls and being a beloved Mema to her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton.
Surviving are her daughters, Jean (Grady) Funderburke and Betty (Jim) Benoit; grandchildren Dana (Mike) Hayes, Keith (Julie) Fincannon, Denise (Shawn) Gilbert, Celeste (Carl) Schuler and Kevin Benoit; 11 great-grandchildren and a very special sister, Frances Turner Jones.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Charlie McDaniel; sisters, Nita Turner Renwick and Mildred Turner; brothers, James Turner and Johnnie Turner; and her precious grandson, Charles Kyle Benoit.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s church or memorial of choice.
Fletcher Funeral Service of Fountain Inn, SC is assisting the family with the service.
