Latta – Lillian Eugenia Stanton Long, 92, died April 25, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center Dillon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Latta Baptist Church followed by interment in Dothan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, April 27, 2015 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta.
Mrs. Long was born March 10, 1923 in Rockingham, NC, the daughter of the late Dargan and Carrie Bell Pearson Stanton. She was a member of the Latta Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. Lillian was the widow of James Robert Long.
She is survived by her sons, Robert S. Long (Darlene) of Jacksonville, FL, Steve Long (Holly) of Latta, SC; daughter, Renee L. Jackson of Florence, SC, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lillian was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy L. Jarrett, one brother, and four sisters.
