Lady Wildcats Down Top-Ranked Mullins

Dillon’s Lady Wildcats defeated the top-ranked Mullins Auctioneers 59-52 on Saturday night in girls varsity basketball action.

Heading into the game, Mullins was the top-ranked team in the Class 2A and Dillon was in second place.

The Wildcats were led by Tejah Breeden with 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Khamele Manning and Shar’Asia Samuel, each with 10 points. Adriana McCollum added eight, and Da’Kerhia Samuel and Kendra McLeod each scored four.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 13-2 overall and 2-0 in Region 8-2A.

Dillon is scheduled to travel to Marion tonight and Loris on Friday, and will be at Waccamaw on Tuesday, January 27. The Wildcats will be back at home to host Aynor on Friday, January 30. Game time is 6:00 p.m., so make plans to attend to support our local team!
