Lake View’s Lady Wild Gators earned a 57-46 win over Aynor on Thursday, December 18, in girls varsity basketball action.
The Lady Gators took a 19-3 lead over Aynor in the first quarter, but the Blue Jackets rallied to go 12-5 in the second to trail 24-15 at the half. Both teams added 12 points in the third, and Lake View held off a rally in the fourth, outscoring Aynor 21-19 to secure the 57-46 win.
Olivia McDaniel led the Lady Gators with a team-high 16 points with Jasmine Ford adding 12, Na’Kedra Page earning 11, and Kayla Page adding 10. Diayah Williams earned six points in the win, and Hannah Miller added two for the Lady Gators.
Aynor was led by A. Rogers with a game-high 22 points; A. Kroger, 10; Gerald, 6; Barton, 6; and Seaver, 2.
Lake View improved to 3-1 on the season.
The Lady Gators will be back in action in the new year to take on Loris on Tuesday, January 6.
