The Diamond Backs 05 won the Top Gun Super Saver on Saturday, September 27, in Carthage, North Carolina.
The Diamond Backs played seven consecutive games and a shootout without a break coming out of the loser’s bracket. The Diamond Backs avenged their earlier loss to Team Crush out of Siler City, NC, by defeating them 1-0 in the championship.
The Diamond Backs then beat Team Crush 2-1 in the shootout to win their first 10U championship since moving up early from 8U after All-Stars.
