Services for Lillie Mae Wilkins were held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation was held 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Wilkins, 91, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, December 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harley Sweat and Artie “Mish” Emanuel Sweat. She was the widow of the late Jessie Wilkins.
Survivors include her daughter, Ethel Hubbard of Fayetteville, NC; brother, James Sweat of Tacoa, GA; grandson, Rolf Woodard of Asheville, NC; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her son, Jessie Gene Wilkins.
