The Dillon High School Lady Wildcats defeated Timberland, 11-1, in a 2 hr. 20 min. game on Monday night. The Wildcats will play a doubleheader in Aynor on Wednesday.
Dillon had two pitchers, Tori Grimsley and Shaquailla German, and German threw nothing but heat on the mound. Timberland had three pitchers.
German hit a home run and was walked two times, and Dillon’s Tara Grimsley closed the game with a hit to left field and two runners on base. The six inning, 10 run rule was exercised ending in a win for Dillon.
