First Baptist Church of Lake View presented Mrs. Jimmie Rogers the Community Spotlight Award on Sunday, April 6th. The award was given in honor of her outstanding Christian service to the Lake View community and the First Baptist Church. The award was presented by Tony Cooke, deacon chairman. James “Tip “ Rogers is also pictured. Rev. Lyn Anderson is interim pastor. After the presentation, Mrs. Rogers celebrated her 101st birthday with a meal in the fellowship hall.
