Dillon’s Lady Wildcats topped the Class 2A softball polls this week while Latta and Lake View were both ranked in the top 10 in Class A.
After being tied for first place last week, the Wildcats took the top spot in Class 2A while Crescent slipped to third. Andrew Jackson was ranked second, and Landrum and Waccamaw rounded out the top five.
In Class A, East Clarendon took the top spot, followed by Dixie, Johnsonville, Lewisville, and St. Joseph’s. Lake View was ranked sixth in the state, and Latta was right behind them in seventh. McBee, Fox Creek, and Lamar filled out the rest of the top 10.
In Class 3A, Hartsville and Seneca were tied for first place followed by Palmetto in third. In Class 4A, Summerville, Mauldin, and Byrnes took the top three spots in the poll.
