Dillon Christian’s Davis Named All-Star, Player of the Year

Dillon Christian School’s Tyler Davis was recently named the SCISA Region 4-2A Class AA Player of the Year and has been chosen to play in the SCISA/GISA All-Star basketball game.

Davis, 6-foot-8 and 250-lbs., had an excellent senior year, leading the Warriors to a 12-7 season and a state playoff appearance. The Warriors fell to Thomas Sumter in the quarter-finals.

Davis averaged 22 points per game this season and scored a season-high 37 against Pee Dee Academy on January 17. He passed the 1,000 point career milestone in the February 7 win over The King’s Academy.

The South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) versus Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) All-Star game will be held in Macon, Georgia, on Saturday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m.
