Woodrow Wilson Carter, Jr.

     Services for Woodrow Wilson Carter, Jr. will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethesda Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
     Mr. Carter, 60, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
     Born in Florence, SC, April 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Carter, Sr. and Sara Myrtice Wise Carter.  He was a member of Bethesda Southern Methodist Church and attended Shiloh Chapel.  He was formerly employed by DuPont.
     Survivors include the mother of his children, Donna Rogers Carter of Dillon; children, Sherrie (Roger) Ball of Dillon, Stacie (B.J.) Coward of Floydale, Stephanie Carter (Becky Peacock) of Oak Grove, Suzanne (Bubba) Rowlen of Bennettsville, and Trey Carter (Candice Demer) of Florence; grandchildren, Brittany & Kelsey Ball, Benji and Ashley Carter, Hailey and Sara Grace Rowlen; lifetime loving friend, JoAnn Williams; special pet, Tango.
     Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Ronnie Blake Rowlen and Peyton Rowlen.
