Services for Douglas “Buddy” Moore will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dillon Congregational Holiness Church with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore, 69, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon, SC, May 17, 1944, he was the son of the late Charlie Moore and Pauline Cottingham Moore. He was a member of Dillon Congregational Holiness Church, and was retired Body Repairman.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Moore of Dillon; children, Junior (Hidi) Moore, Dottie Graves, Vicky Fowler, and Roy (Terri) Moore, all of Dillon; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Gladys Wilkerson of Dillon, Mildred Pete Phillips of Florence, Emma Jean Moore, Larry Moore, and Linda Hyatt all of Dillon
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Sarah Hunt, Francis Alexson, Willow Dean Cottingham, and Billy C. Moore; and his son-in-law, Ricky Graves.
