City Relocating Sewer Lines

The sewer line re-location issue at Old Marion and Jackson Streets was recently discussed at a Dillon City Council meeeting. The city decided to relocate the line. The city plans to do 95 percent of the work except for the actual tie-in. About 1,200 feet of pipe is going to be re-located. The material cost is approximately $69,000. The estimated time of completion is two weeks. Shown are city workers working on the re-location on Monroe Street. (Photos by Johnnie Daniels/The Dillon Herald)
