Dillon Lady Wildcats Total Season Stats for 2013

Dillon’s Lady Wildcats wrapped the season with a 25-5 overall record. Here’s a look at the team’s final stats for the season.

Team Totals: As a team, the Wildcats hit 26 home runs with 223 RBIs, scoring 260 runs in 30 games. The team had a total of 313 hits for a team batting average of .412. On the mound, the Lady Wildcats struck out 186 batters and had a combined ERA of .88, allowing only 90 hits, 62 runs, and 20 earned runs all season.

Tara Grimsley hit a team-high seven home runs, 13 doubles, and 41 RBIs. She had a total of 43 hits and scored 43 runs with 77 total bases and three stolen bases. In the field, Grimsley made 22 put outs and three assists.

Shayna Covington made a team-high 45 hits and 45 runs with 23 stolen bases. She hit 38 singles, five doubles, a triple, and a home run for nine RBIs. In the field, she made 28 put outs and 23 assists.

Shaquailla German got 40 hits with 38 RBIs and 33 runs scored. German had a team-high of three triples and also hit five home runs and 12 doubles with four stolen bases. In the field, German made a team high 93 put outs with 11 assists. On the mound, she struck out a team-high 94, allowing 43 walks and 26 runs with just 19 hits and two earned runs. She had nine hit by pitch and 13 wild pitches for a win-loss record of 9-2.

Darby Hamer was named to the CAWS All-State and North/South All-Star teams. She had 32 hitsincluding five home runs, one triple and two doubles, scoring 25 runs and picking up 30 RBIs with three stolen bases. Hamer made 37 put outs and 12 assists in the field and struck out 58 out of 283 batters faced on the mound in 67 innings. She allowed 48 hits, two home runs, and 13 walks for 23 runs and 13 earned runs, hitting seven and throwing five wild pitches for a 9-1 record.

Erin Bailey made 27 hits with three home runs, one triple, and four doubles, picking up 14 RBIs and 23 runs scored. She made seven put outs and 13 assists in the field.

Da’Kerhia Samuel made 29 hits with two home runs, a triple, and 13 doubles for 23 RBIs, three stolen bases, and 21 runs scored. She made 17 put outs and six assists in the field.

Taylor Price made 30 hits with one home run and nine doubles for 23 RBIs, five stolen bases, and 17 runs scored. In the field, Price made a team-high 38 assists and 21 put outs. On the mound, she struck out 34 and allowed 23 hits, 10 walks, 13 runs, and five earned runs, with two wild pitches and three hit by pitch for a 6-2 record.

Rebecca Callahan had 33 hits with two triples and eight doubles for 21 RBIs, 22 runs, and nine stolen bases.She made 27 assists and 19 put outs.

Ma’Kayla Drake made 17 hits with four doubles and a home run for nine RBIs and 15 runs scored with two stolen bases. Drake made 23 put outs and one assists in the field.

Shar’Asia Samuel made eight hits with one home run for six RBIs, 13 stolen bases, and six runs scored. she made five put outs in the field for the Wildcats.

Leah McMillan made seven hits with a double for four RBIs, three stolen bases, and six runs scored. In the field she made five put outs and one assist.

Johnna Rogers picked up one RBI and made one assist for the Wildcats; Holly Vaughn scored two runs with a walk; Candace Powers had two stolen bases and one run scored; Tyieshah Jones made two hits for three RBIs, one stolen base, one assist in the field, and one run scored; and Auh’Keria Smiling had four stolen bases.
