Latta’s Lady Vikings battled East Clarendon for a 5-1 loss in the first round of the lower state playoffs on Saturday, May 4, and were eliminated by the Lady Wolverines in the lower state championship on Friday, May 10.

East Clarendon won the first game of the state series against Dixie but fell in game two, forcing a third game tonight for the Class A State Softball Championship.
