Claudia Mae Davis Rogers, 86, died at Heritage at the Pines, Sunday, May 5, 2013. Funeral services were held 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Latta Church of God with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation wasfrom 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Dillon County January 12, 1927, the daughter of the late Claude and Minnie Burr Davis. She was the widow of Harry Mack Rogers. She retired as a textile worker with Craftex. She was a member of the Latta Church of God and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Church.
She is survived by her sons, Jackie Rogers of Newport, AL, Daniel Rogers (Sylvia) of Dillon, SC, Alton Rogers (Donna) 0f Columbia, SC; daughters, Bonnie B. Herring (Ronald) of Hamer, SC, Kathy Rogers of Dillon, SC, Diane Rogers of Dillon, SC; brother,James Davis (Mae) of Columbia, SC; sister, Mary Catherine Jackson of Dillon, SC; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her sons, Frankie, Wade, and James Rogers; daughter, Mary Sue Braswell; brother, Claude Davis, Jr.; and sisters, Elgie Lee Turbeville, Carolyn Caulder, and Isla Mae Flowers.
