Wild Gators Shut Out Warriors 13-0

The Lake View Wild Gators shut out the visiting Dillon Christian School Warriors 13-0 in five innings in non-region baseball action on Friday, March 8.

The Wild Gators scored five runs each in the first and second innings and added three runs in the fourth for the win.

Carson Rogers picked up the win on the mound for Lake View with eight outs and two walks across four innings. Hunter Walters pitched relief, and neither pitcher allowed a single hit.

Landry Collins took the loss for Dillon Christian, pitching 2.6 innings for three outs, three walks, seven hits, eight runs, and six earned runs.

Eric Munoz led the Gators at bat, going 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBI. Chris Ford went 2-for-3 for Lake View, and Nate Lewis went 2-for-2.

Lake View improved to 6-0 for the season and will travel on Wednesday to face the Warriors at Dillon Christian School at 4:30 p.m.

On Friday, Lake View will be at home to host Hannah-Pamplico at 5:30 p.m. for the start of region play, and on Tuesday, March 19, the Wild Gators will host a double header against Creek Bridge. Make plans to attend to support our local teams!
